pops passed away on new years day. as we begin our new year learning to live without him here on earth, he is beginning his new year in a new home ~ heaven. we know this because of his acceptance of christ on christmas day. i have been putting off the writing of this post... it seems so final to actually write the words that he is no longer with us physically. we have been very busy with planning, family in town, two children back in school and the youngest with an ear infection. the memorial service was on thursday evening, january 7. i need to write about that so we will remember... but just don't feel like doing so at this moment.
Sandi, I'm so sorry to hear that Pops passed away, yet I am so thankful that he is with our Heavenly Father. We will be praying for ya'll through this time. Much love! Sue
ReplyDeleteOh Sandi. I am so so sorry to hear that. It was so good to hear your voice the other day on the message. I'm hoping to give you a call tomorrow - it's been a crazy few weeks around her and I have been waiting for a time when I have some "sit down, quiet time" to call. I am so sorry to hear about Pops, but I know there is rejoicing in heaven as he is with his Lord in his completed body! We love you - we'll talk soon!
ReplyDeleteSandi, i am so sorry for your family's loss and i'm sure it is all still very fresh. so thankful though he is with our Father in Heaven and y'all can find peace in knowing that! and that he is finally healed and no longer suffering. i know you all will miss him dearly.
