Mother's Day

After church the family headed to the strawberry field. It was a bright and sunny day. M2 had her first taste of strawberries ~ YUM! Not sure why mommy thought it was a good idea for her to wear a white shirt! We had lunch with both sets of grandparents and gave them some of our freshly picked berries.

Happy Anniversary

John David and I headed to Bermuda on a cruise the first week of May. We honeymooned there 10 years ago. The cruise was wonderful and relaxing. There were great shows and activities and oh, the food... there are NO words to describe the excellent food. And, the only food I cut was my OWN!

We rented a moped and toured the island ~ returning to the Pompano Beach Club where we stayed years ago. The roads were narrow and we had to remember that they drive on the "wrong" side of the road.

John David won the on board ping-pong tournament and I climbed to the top of the rock wall.

We ate our dinners with a sweet couple from North Carolina who was on their honeymoon. Maybe in ten years we will do this all over again with them! It was a great five days but we were ready to see the children! And then I remembered that I was the chef for the evening... being waited on is the BEST.
